DUTIES
Friends of Santa Cruz State Parks is looking for someone who would enjoy assisting State Parks staff with the operation of the campground and day use areas at one of our beautiful State Parks. Service Aide duties include fee collection and registrations for campers and day users, providing park information and explaining rules and regulations to visitors in person and via phone, use of a computer for daily financial accounting, using a two-way radio, reporting emergencies, office house keeping, and assisting park staff in the operation of Park Headquarters and museums.

SHIFT
The work schedule is either an 8-hour shift or a 10-hour shift depending on the park location that you are assigned to. Both full and part-time shifts are available. Must be available to work on weekends, evenings, and holidays depending on operational needs.

SALARY
$10.60 per hour, paid vacation, and sick leave earned based on hours worked.

QUALIFICATIONS
Applicants must purchase and wear the approved uniform and adhere to park grooming standards. Jackets provided. Knowledge of California' natural and cultural history is desirable .
