FELTON -- Jack Dodson and his 3-year-old daughter Teagan didn't get the best night of sleep Thursday.

The air mattress in their tent, pitched at Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park, sprung a leak and they ended up sleeping in the car.

Still, says Dodson, their time at the sandy campsite and hiking in the surrounding woods of the Santa Cruz Mountains is not something he would trade in.
