S.S. Palo Alto Centennial Celebration

The beloved and beleaguered icon of Aptos hits the century mark! Revisit the last 100 years through the eyes — portholes, if you prefer — of the S.S. Palo Alto with music, dancing, children’s activities, arts and crafts, food (sold by Taquitos Gabriel’s) and the unveiling of a commemorative historic plaque. Event is free; parking is $10.

This is one of three special events commemorating the centennial of the Cement Ship. Go here for a full list of events and more information about the S.S. Palo Alto.

The event also will include living history re-enactors, vintage music and dance lessons, and an Agents of Discovery mobile game with prizes!
