Meet at the Hopkins Grove, next to the Visitor Center, at 1 pm for a guided hike into the old-growth redwood grove. On this 1-mile trail we will discuss the complexities, importance and beauty of old-growth redwood trees. Please dress warmly and bring water and sturdy shoes. Portola Redwoods State Park is located 3 miles down Alpine Road off Highway 35 in La Honda.
