Guided History Walk: Under the Redwood Trees at Forest of Nisene

An event every week that begins at 10:00 am on Friday and Saturday, repeating until August 26, 2022
Delve into forest history—and prehistory—with a 3-mile, 2.5-hour walk to the site of sawmill and fossils deep inside the redwood forest. Bring water and snacks. Meet at the Porter Picnic Area about one mile past the kiosk. This is a light to moderate hike and is a free event. Vehicle day-use fee is $8. For more information, call (831) 685-6444.
