Winter Day in the Redwoods

Make the trip to Portola Redwoods State Park for a winter day in the redwoods Sunday, Feb. 12. Join one of the docent-led hikes in the morning to see waterfalls, mushrooms, bananas slugs and new growth. There will be free hot drinks and a “Porch Warming” ceremony at the Visitor Center at 1 p.m. This day-long event also features local nature artist Patricia Larenas offering free hands-on demonstrations and art for sale.
Parking is $10 and supports the park.
