Art on the Rancho: Castro Adobe Open House

August is art appreciation month. Step back in time and learn about the artistry of the garden behind the adobe, designed by renowned landscape architect Thomas Church. Take in the beauty of the two-story adobe hacienda as it has been restored to its original Monterey colonial style. And learn about the porcelain dishes intricately designed and imported from China, used by the Castros when hosting special guests. See the intricate leather work and learn the meaning of motifs stamped into saddles used by people in Alta California. And listen to live music of course!
