Guided Hikes

An event every week that begins at 2:30 pm on Sunday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday, repeating until August 31, 2018
Explore the myriad of beautiful trails at Portola Redwoods State Park and learn about the natural and cultural history of this rich landscape. Each hike will have a central theme to give visitors a greater sense of the history in the park and help them find a deeper connection to the natural world. Hikes will vary in difficulty, so please check the signboard at the Visitor’s Center for the daily hike schedule. Generally, afternoon hikes will be more strenuous than morning hikes. Please bring closed toe shoes, water, snacks and a camera, and meet at the Visitor’s Center. Event is free; parking is $10.
