Calling all homeschool families! Come to the Santa Cruz Mission State Historic Park on Friday, Sept. 15, for a special day of hands-on learning. Homeschool students of all ages are invited to join us at their own pace for a series of self-directed Mission education activities from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m including an investigative exploration of the 200-year-old building, Mission Clues visual scavenger hunt, adobe brick making, archaeology sorting, story reading of “When the Mission Bells Rang” by Judith Scott & Lydia Gibson, discussion on the Mission Bell Virtual Exhibit and more.

Homeschool Day at the Santa Cruz Mission is free. Families are encouraged to carpool, bike, or park downtown Santa Cruz and walk, as parking is limited on the hill. Call 831-425-5849 or email santacruzmission@ports-ca.us with any questions!
