“Jays and Murrelets” Campfire Program

Have you noticed the Steller’s Jays with “bracelets” around their legs? Come hear Kristin Brunk, who is researching these birds, talk about why they’re banding the birds, what they’re learning about how Jay behavior changes around people, and the impact the Jays have on the endangered Marbled Murrelet. Marshmallows (we provide the sticks and marshmallows!) at 7 pm; program begins at 7:30 pm. Wheelchair, stroller accessible. Good dogs welcome. Event is free; day-use fee for vehicles is $10.
