Tree Identification

Learn all about the life histories and characteristics of up to 15 different tree species residing in the redwood forest and/or riparian ecosystems, practice the fundamentals of tree identification, and receive supporting materials and guides.

Meet at the Visitors Center in the day-use area of Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park located off Highway 9 in Felton.

Participants should be prepared to walk approximately 2 miles on level ground. Tour is free. Vehicle day-use fee is $10. Event made possible by Mountain Parks Foundation and California State Parks.
