Guest Naturalist Greg Meyer, hosted by Waddell Creek Association

Bio: Greg Meyer has worked as a State Park Interpreter and aUniversity Lecturer, and he has watched birds on all 7 continents.  He has taught birding classes for many years and has learned that there is still a lotto know about birds!

This relaxed walk will introduce you to the resident birds of the Central Coast and our fall migrants. The goal of the class is to help you see and name more birds.  We’ll introduce some simple skills and tools that will increase your birding abilities and make the joy of bird watching more accessible.

Meet at the nature center, walk the marsh trail or Canyon Road up to the campground, and if we have time, cross the highway to check the beach.

Bring good walking shoes (we will walk about 2 miles), binoculars
