November 17, 2016 @ 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm

Santa Cruz Mission State Historic Park Anniversary Lecture

“The Santa Cruz Mission: Saving Our Oldest Building, Then and Now”

Speakers:

The Adobe Coalition – Cynthia Mathews – A Grassroots Movement to Save Local History

Gil Sanchez, Daryl Allen – Restoring the Adobe to Tell the Story

For 25 years the Santa Cruz Mission State Historic Park has been telling the stories of the people of the Mission. We are honoring that tradition with a lecture series to mark our 25th Anniversary. Join us for a variety of topics from diverse speakers who will help us to put the past in perspective and give us a glimpse into the future. Please dress warmly and bring lawn chairs or cushions. Each evening will include a reception on the patio. Events are free. For more information, please call (831) 466-0550. Event made possible by Friends of Santa Cruz State Parks, California State Parks volunteers, and California State Parks. Visit us on the web at www.thatsmypark.org and www.parks.ca.gov.
